Baits For Big Cats ???

I Have Been Hearing About People Using What They Call Water-dogs,...AKA The Gilled Stage Of The Tiger Salamander...AKA Mud Puppy's. From What I Have Heard The Past Couple Years, Is That From Mid Summer And Into Fall Big Cats Seem To Go Crazy Over Them. I Have Heard That You Can Also Pick Up A Walleye On Them Also, Has Anyone Tried These For Bait.

I have heard of them but never seen them!
I would think any natural bait of a given area would work but finding what the fat catdaddy is wanting is the secret to getting them on the hook!
I have heard of small ducks beig found in the belly of a big cat that was in a pond ,so I know if a big cat is on the prowl anything could be fare game!!!!

Them things are too ugly to touch.
