went fishing today with my buddy rocky , we headed out to the local lake and when we got there the lake was 2/3 of the way covered in thin ice. we found a open water area and set up to fish. within 20 minutes we had bites on cut shad, we ended up landing 6 channel cats (3 each) in about 1 1/2 hours of fishing time. no really big fish but nice eaters all of the channels were between 12-17 inches long !!! it was awesome to get out and catch my first catfish of the year !! cant wait to get back out and try it again !!!
