| Mom called this morning and told me that my step-dad Glenn had died at 9 o clock. We're taking off tomorrow around noon for a quick weekend trip to Haughton, LA. It's fairly close to Shreveport. Glen had been sickly for a long time. He lost his sight about 12 years ago, he had diabetes, cancer and COPD. The last time we visited them God told me "Make sure Glen knows me." So we talked and I found out he had accepted Jesus so I know where he is now. He's probably up there with Bernie swapping fishing stories and catching the big ones. Keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we travel this weekend. | |

| Well it went very well. My brother did the service and did a bang up job. He's pretty good for a hill billy, biker preacher. The trip went well. Got in at 3:30 on Friday morning. We left there at 7:30 Sunday morning and got back here at 10:30 last night. I'm up bright and early to get ready for work today. Seems like I have to go to work to get rest! Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. | |
