Mike, he's using waxworms or bee moths as some call them... They are awesome bait!~!

Mostly they are biting slow but sometimes when its getting almost dark, they went bite fast more than during daylight. We caught all of crappies and panfish on waxworms with jighead.

Nice pics, the only thing I like better than looking at ice fishing pics is being out there myself. I almost think I like ice fishing more than open water anymore. At least I don't have to think about going home and mowing the lawn or weeding the garden. And the mosquitoes hardly bother at all, lol!

Looks like its time for a fish fry.

Heres from few days ago.. We put the underwater video camera so I took my camera to take the pics of fish so its pretty cool to take the pics also. We have alot of luck of gills and a few crappies so my dad caught two nice bass on jigging with wax worm so I also caught one nice bass, bass are 16" to 18" average so.

Heres my dad and I caught a bunch of nice gills and crappies.


Cool sunset, theres no snow on the lake.. we need snow someday.

Finally the snow was here.

Next day, my dad and i moved to new spot so found bunch of gills so I got my limit of panfish so dad got almost limit so it was total 45 gills so that was great day of ice fishing.

Buddy as always that was awesome, and really cool at the same time, that was a monster pike would have looked nice on my spear lolol congrats to you 2.

yep I wish its legal to spear pike in wisconsin, its so easy to spear them while they look at camera or decory under the ice.

Well, its from last week, my dad and I caught a couples of gills and one crappie..

Nice catch, Andrew!~! I'm sure those are going to taste really good in a hot grease bath!

That lake must be loaded with the gills, we have a couple lakes like that here to you can get them year around, awesome catch to you both.

yep! too many gills in that lake.

Few days ago and this weekend, fished with my dad so its still pretty good biting til sunday it was pretty slow today. Also we set up the tipups so dad caught two pike, 30" and 28" as not legal size so mine broke line it was whole wire leader gone so cut the heavy braided line... probly big one been cut the line...
