| Me, my son and a good friend went camping on Center Hill Lake last night. We were going after flat heads. Its been very hot and humid here. It started getting cold as the first real cold front of the year came through. I put on a coat and rolled up in my cot at around 12am this morning. I was about 15 ft from the edge of the water. At around 4am I woke up FROZE TO FRIGGGGGIN death. I couldn't move I was so cold. The temp had dropped from the high 70s to around 39 degrees and heavy fog. I got up off the cot but my legs would not work. It was down hill to the water and thats where all 270 lbs of me headed. I couldn't stop. I couldn't stop or controll my legs. Just before I jumped off into 25 ft of water wearing a heavy coat, I just dropped to the ground and held on. After a few minutes I was able to crawl back to my cot. By this time my son and friend were up . They were both freezing and wondering why I was crawling up the bank on my hands and knees. We built a fire that could be seen in Nashvilee 70 miles away. I'm getting way to old for this CrAppPpPpPpP. We caught 3 small flatties and to be honest, I really could have cared less about a fish. I just wanted to go home. | |

| I got up early this morning and went crappie fishing. I wore a jacket and was nice and warm even though it was about 40 degrees out there.
I fished for 2 hours in fog so heavy I couldn't see anything. When the fog lifted, I was a pretty good ways from where I thought I was fishing. When I got back to where I needed to be, I caught 10 nice slabs and then my trolling motor battery ran down, so I came home.
Got a big bowl of fillets. I think I'm gonna go cook them now. | |

| Well I remember when we first moved to Texas that first winter the Texans were all bundled up. I had a light jacket on. Well the next year I was one of those who was bundled up. | |
