| for small channels/bulls size 2 hooks with 1oz. wieght for tightlinen. And for any 10+lb. cats justa 2/0 hook with 1/1/4oz. | |

| For my channel fishin' with livers, a #1 baitholder with a split shot. When I use frogs, a long shank 3/0 or 4/0 if I can find them. For live bait, whatever size is needed to match the baitfish. | |

| you know the only catfish I go for is big blue here and the smallest hook I use is 7/0 circle hooks, so far the only brand I have tried is eagle claw Lazer sharp cirle ! I take them and put a slight bend to the side to offset the point from the line of the hook to make a better hook up! Another way of saying it is I bend it to the side maybe 1\8 of an inch , I seem to get more hook ups doing this! | |

| when im catching smaller cats i use a 4/0 gamakatsu circle hook !!
when im targeting big flatties ...............i use a 8/0 gamakatsu circle hook !! | |

| 6/0 Eagle Claw Octopus Circles For Lake Fishing On The Bottom 5/0 Kahles Or Octopus Hooks For River Fishing Or When Using Floats. I have also had Good Luck With The 8/0 Red Circle Hooks. | |
