| We had a awesome fishing time on Mississippi River. First day of night fishing with my friend Dan. We were drinking beers and fishing til 1am so it was awesome time. I caught first fish was little catfish. The barge ship in the night. I caught a 37" channel catfish, my new personal best. I don't have a weight for it this time. Next day, we took the boat out on the river, we stop at the island so my friend Dan caught a northern pike on plastic worm. In later night time, we went back same spot, I caught a shovelnose sturgeon. I never catch it in my life. In few mins later, caught another nice 24" catfish. Next day, we went back same spot so we caught many drumfish, the school of drumfish into that spot so kept catch them in all the night and no catfish. We put all drumfish on the stringer for fun, take the pics then released. Dan with stringer of drumfish me with stringer of drumfish In late midnight, last fish I caught was eel.. never catch it before either.. All the fish we caught on the worms. | |

| Awesome reports and fish, Andrew! I never caught a sturgeon either. I don't think we have them this far down north. I have caught a freshwater eel though... Those things are nasty. They remind me too much of a snake.. LOL... Thanks for the report! Glad you had a great time fishing! | |
