here is a 19 lb er that I caught on a butterflied perch only took abot 40 minutes or so for him to bite!
I was fishing on bottom in a river bed under the lake . The water in the river was 44 ft deep and the surrounding lake bottom was 24 feet deep .
I think I could do much better if I could get some perch about 5-6 inches long or even bigger. The fish I caught the other day had 2 bass in him about 7-8 inches long so bigger is better!
