I caught this on cut perch 1/8/09 Lake Sam Rayburn TX ,fishing in 35 ft of water while the boat was in 55 ft of water.

That sure is big. I have never caught a cat over two pounds of any variety.

I guess I must find a place where they are at and then try it.

I was fishing on the beginning of the outside of a bend but I was fishing on the bank of the river not in the river. This is the third time that I know of I have done this and it worked!!

I thought you were fishing in Lake Sam Rayburn... Or is there a river inlet into the lake? If so, which river? It sure is a nice catch!
