Spearing Last Year

O.K. john i know these are from last year, but i promise i will get you some new ones from this year. and i hope that as time goes by we will have a few members posting some more great pictures.

this is a picture of my shanty from the back side, it is sitting on 5 inches of is.

this is my buddy's car sitting on 5 inches of ice, not smart at all as you can see the water is forming under his car but he did make it off the lake safe.

one more for the day.

Mike we got a word in Texas for those cracks or lines in the ice "BAD SIGN" I know in my head that it doesn't take but a couple of inches of ice to hold people but my heart don't know it.

well hop that crosses alot of peoples minds but really when the ices cracks like that and has a chance to heal for a day or 2, that ice is just like breaking a bone it is real strong and won't break again in the same crack when healed unless it don't get a chance to heal. it looks spooky and even sounds spookier when you are driving on it and you hear and see them cracks happen but me likes it cause i know it will be stronger the next day.

Yep,,I think that that 4th pic has got to be one of the best i've ever seen.

I sure like your photographs Mike. They all sort of demand a study on each and every one. They sure tell a story. We hope you take some this year.

I have never seen anything like that before in my life.
