Spearing Is Getting To Be A Sport That Is Fading Away A Little Bit Each Year, Maybe We Can Share Some Incite With Each Other About This Great Sport And I Believe A Historic Sport That Has Been Passed Down From Our Ancestors From Years Gone By Thank You From Big Fish Midwest.

Well your dad my grandpa showed you how to spear and you showed me it one of those sports that I will teach my kids

It Is A Sport That Needs To Have Respected and needs to be passed down to our kids and to teach them that the rules of spearing need to be followed not only because it's law, but so that sport can go on for generations to come.

We used to spear for carp when I was a kid, but I haven't done it for years. Is it legal for a non-resident to spear in Minnesota? I know a few years ago, it was residents only.

from what i can find in the regs book, non-residents are not allowed to spear from a ice shelter.
