| Ok today i got down in the garden again today, even though it rained yesterday the garden was bone dry again and needed to be watered again and will need to be watered again everyday unless we get more rain real soon and a lot. The wife got down there first and replanted the radishes that we been picking and that are gone but this time there is 3 rows 50 feet long me watering them for the second time today and it soaks right in when it hits the ground. The peppers are not doing to good because they had a really bad head start this cold spring and dry the whole time, and then to top things off the wind beat the hell out of them so there trying real hard to survive. The tomato's on the other hand were growing real slow also till we got this real warm weather and warmer nights now there growing out of the cans and even have blossoms on them so they will be getting water on them everyday also there is 4 50 foot rows of them. then there are the vine plants that we have had trouble getting growing because of how dry it is and very hard to keep the ground wet enough to germinate the seed. These are the zucchini squash which are finally doing good and a few pickles that are coming along pretty good also. Here is the new rows of radishes and the beets, the beets are doing great as they were a cool weather seed so they took off. These rows are struggling and were having a real sucky time getting the seeds to sprout, i have seeds in pots that i am trying to speed start in hopes that there will still be time, they are the pumpkins, musk mellons, honey dew, cucumbers, water mellon, we have replanted 2 times on these and the 3rd time i am trying to get things going in the peat pots. Here the peas that are doing very well because they to are a cool weather crop, they are blooming also so it won't be long and there will be fresh peas, in the back ground you can see some of the onions which are doing awesome also. Here is a better shot of the 6 50 foot rows of onions, i should add that there is 1 row of garlic also growing but you can tell because they look like onions. Here is the spuds that we have planted this year, both the red and the white spud and they to are doing very well because of the depth that they were planted they have more moisture to grow. Well that is what i have been working on and trying to keep the weeds has been work but fun, and it is even fun to watch all the work you do turn out for the good for us, will be watering again in the morning if it don't rain tonight then watering again in the evening. I will get some pictures of the setups that we have working for us tomorrow when i go back down there in the morning. | |

| That looks nice Mike...The place I'll be moving has soil with the nutrients to grow sandspurs. I'll have to make a small raised garden. | |
