A Brainerd man accused of beating another man to death has now been convicted of manslaughter.
Back on August 14th, 39-year-old Chad Campbell was seriously injured after being punched in the head during a fight.
The incident happened near Yesterday's Gone Bar on Front Street in Downtown Brainerd.
Campbell died a few days later.
25-year-old Bradley Lewis was arrested in connection with the incident.
That night, he was the one that allegedly punched Campbell in the head.
This week, Lewis pleaded guilty to first degree manslaughter.
Judge Earl Maus, sentenced Lewis to one year in jail and placed him on 15 years of supervised probation.
