| I'm going to get one or two so when I camp on the water in my RV I don't have to run out to get bait. I would like to know what everybody uses for bait. I have read a lot of things on it, like avoiding something that will float out of the trap etc. Dog food sounds popular but I would like ya'lls input and idea's. | |

| I am very disgusted with trying to catch minners with dog food, not one minner in three days. So it's back to the unflavored bread crumb for me, I caught minners when I used them. | |

| I never thought about buying a can of bread crumbs, I was just thinking of tearing up some white bread. good idea. I wonder how crouton's would work, at least they won't float away. I read in a crappie mag you could put cod liver oil in a eye drop bottle and put it on your lure. Croutons have enough crust that they would stay together and hold the oil. Just a thought, try it Papa, it might change your luck.

| I just saw on Cabela's site in the reviews that someone posted he uses a small plastic bottle with holes poked in it to bait a trap, keeps his bait in there. | |

| I bought one of those black coated Frabil minnow traps today at Walmart but I'm not happy with it. Where it joins in the middle doesn't fit tight and can twist to allow an opening large enough for the minnows to escape. Kind of cheap junk for 8 bucks. I think I'm gonna take it back. | |

| Looks like some company would sell minnow trap bait in little clip on packages that would hold the bait in the center of the trap. | |

Well I Think It Is The Simple Fact With Them Barrel Traps Like Grumpy Bought Is That There Made Cheap, Yep That Is Wrong In My Book To But I Can't Afford Some Of The Other Traps On The Market. But With A Couple Bread Ties A Have Caught Millions Of Minnows Of All Sizes That I Didn't Have To Pay For, Besides If Someone Steals It Im Out 8 Bucks Not 20, Or 30 Bucks. | |
