well winter is here and i have a feeling that it's going to feel like a long one. today i woke up to temps that was -14 here on the farm, and if you look farther north the temps went as low as -21 in the north. cold temps make for good ice on the lakes which mean fishing fishing fishing.

Yep, about the same here in Iowa, not below zero, but it looks like we are gonna get a real winter this year. Snow is in the forecast for just about everyday for the next week.

Yea I can't hardly take the temperature here , it is 76 degrees at10 in the morning I need some of those temps down here!

we got the snow but no ice on the ponds yet we gets the ice here in december and january and then it don't go until april or may.
