TwistedWhiskerz Ohio Catfish Trail 2010 Biggest Cat species Title holders!
What a Great first year 163+ individual anglers gave us a fish couldn’t have asked for a better year. We literally started of breaking the Ice at Findley, weathered through Sandusky bay storm and weighed a 19.02 lb. “Channel cat” at our final event in Leesville, Don’t think we’ll see that beet any time soon!! Of 7 events we weighed over 509 catfish totaling over 2,728.24 pounds of fish caught and released for 2010 not including the 2 special events we held.

Ohio’s Biggest Cats weight holders of 2010:
Channel cat goes to Jeff Foster & Justin Heart. This team only had the opportunity to fish our last event of the year (Leesville) that’s all it took them is one event to change our stats for the whole year. Jeff Foster of Scio, caught 19.02 pound 331/4 inch “Channel Cat”. Jeff has been cat fishing every bit of 20+ years that was his personal best. Can’t teach and old cat new tricks caught this whopper on a good old fashioned hook and worm anchored. Jeff could likely hold this as top class weight for some time to come.


Flathead goes to Skip Martin, Chrissy Jones & Rainy this family team fishing all our 2010 events definitely kept the bar high all year for us. Skip Martin caught a 39.50 pound Flathead from Ohio River. A nice weight for the species, we have some good flat head lakes coming 2011 but he still has good odds of holding this title.







Blue Cat goes to Justin Jackson & Denny Ross another team who fished the entire year with us having their up-n downs but still having a good year. Denny Ross catching a 21.72 & 19.20 pound from Ohio River.
There’s only one chance and 9 hours 2011 to beat these weights “on the river”. We know this species gets a whole lot bigger odds are he may hold it through next year!


Earning cash, winning Monster Rod holders and holding title of biggest fish to date. Congrats guys hold on to it if you Can!!
