TwistedWhiskerz Ohio Catfish Trail 2010 Top “Ohio Cat Anglers” of the year.

What a Great first year 163+ individual anglers gave us a fish couldn’t have asked for a better year. We literally started of breaking the Ice at Findley, weathered through Sandusky bay storm and weighed a 19.02 lb. “Channel cat” at our final event in Leesville, Don’t think we’ll see that beet any time soon!! Of 7 events we weighed over 509 catfish totaling over 2,728.24 pounds of fish caught and released for 2010 not including the 2 special events we held.

Top 10 anglers point chase winners of 2010: (best 5 of 7 events)

1st place-247.76 lbs. Skip Martin & Chrissy Jones they have been a challenge all year fishing all events

2nd place-231.80 lbs. Justin Jackson & Denny Ross fished all events having a hit -n- miss year they felt,
Just goes to show they hung in there did what they do tried to enjoy it and improve where they could and got caught’ up on second not bad at all.


3rd place-177.28 lbs. Derrick & Dustin Ross fished all events steady bringing weight in all year nothing toppling until their last event. As if they came out of know where snagging 3rd Again being Consistent shows to pay off in the end. “nice job’






4th place-175.26 lbs. Nick Burnsworth & Nathaniel Torres fished all events wow for all the other stuff we had to do at the events we settle for 4th. We had some fun but don’t let no one tell you different if you’re shooting for placement at an event there is a lil work involved. “ fish on”!! We’ll get‘em next year


5th place148.32 lbs. Scott Riley & John Halase fished 5 events all year released well over 40lbs of fish at Sandusky bay prior to weigh in due to weather. Could have been sitting easy on 3rd place this year heck possibly took first place if they fished all 7. Still good placement weight for only 4 events.



6th place-127.06 lbs Doug Barris & Butch Kline fishing 5 events only weighing 4, For just having some fun testing the waters on what they were doing. They didn’t do badly at all



7th place-126.88 lbs. Jeff Blakley & Mike Hall having the time to only fish 3 events these guys definitely seem they could apply some competition to the table.


8th place-121.44 lbs. Jason & Charise Stanfield fished 5 events 0 out on 1 event not bad at all for only weighing 4 events. She’s taught him a lot this year and believes he’s got the hang of it. Look out 2011


9th place-111.22 lbs. Larry & Sandra Martin fished 6 events, 0 out on 2 events having only 4 events to get them their placement. May just be a passion of theirs and only coming out to have a good time and enjoy life. Just hope they don’t get serious heard they taught their son Skip everything he knows!!


10th place-96.61 lbs. Bob & Tom Tullar fished all events this year having a lil of a tough year but having fun in the process and sticking to it, getting past a couple boat malfunctions they just didn’t give up “top ten or bust”
