| Mike I soak mine in either salt water or milk for about 4 hours...Rinse them well ...I never have a problem as long as I do that... | |

| mike, i tried 7 up this last yr and it works great and a 2 liter bottle is a lot cheaper than milk. | |

Not when your neighbor has a milk farm...LOL....And he gives you your milk and eggs for free...LOL... Seriously tho Mike...You don't need a whole gallon of milk to do this....You just cover the fillets and put them in the fridge... | |

| How do you know they're muddy tasting without cooking them first and then eating them? I guess you cook a test piece first? Never heard of this before and it sounds interesting to me. Jim | |

| My grandfather had a huge above ground pool in the back yard that he kept for fish he would bring them home and throw them in there and after a few weeks he would let me go out back and catch a few to fry up. We never ran a filter on the pool but it seems as though it cut down on some of the taste. | |
