| Hi, I am from Abbeville Louisiana. A small town on the south central gulf cost. Most of my fishing is for catfish but I do get out to the salt water every now and then and try my luck on red fish. My fishing is just that fishing and not catching. I just enjoy getting out in the fresh air and it dosn't matter if I catch or not. My fishing partner is my wife Sherry, and we just about always go together.
I am not much on typeing on here but I do take the time to read all the post and there is some purty good information here. I will try and post when I can. | |

I have never been to your state but am looking forward to a Navy reunion at Baton Rouge April 30-May2 2009.
Hope to drive over there as see some of your contry side while we are there. And even enjoy some cajun meals and other foods that are native to your state. Mainly I would like to try your seafoods. We will see how our health holds out.
We are getting older and it becomes more difficult to do our things day by day. That's all rilght however as it is or will be happening to all of us. We keep chugging along and are hosting a Navy reunion at our place next month. There were 15 of us here two years ago but now I looks like we will only have 13.
And by the way, your typing is just fine. I like to read your posts. | |

| No I am afarid I do not have a Cajun accent. I am a transplant from Illinois, and have been down here about 5 years. My wife is from here and she refused to move north so here I am. I like the weather down here, better than the winters in Illinois. I am getting the cooking part down do to a good teacher and the fact that I like to cook. Can't wait for crawfish season to get here. I would like to get out fishing more but the health won't let me. The rain in January keeps me in. Looking for a good day so we can get out and try and catch some. | |
