Open water levels

Well folks spring is here and the water levels are really looking good in most areas and the rainy part of the season hasn't even arrived yet, i truly hope that we get the well needed rain to keep things the way there suppose to be this spring and supper. Fishing should be starting to pick up in the next few days when the temps this weekend hit the 60's, but we also have to take care yet if you dare to venture out on the ever thinning ice that we still have left. That ice that is out there once the temp hits the 60's is going to rot real fast to were you may just get wet and that is not a good thing if it is you falling threw the ice. The people on shore will start getting into the pan-fish as well with the temps jumping up and warming the small bays bringing in the bait fish and in turn bringing in the crappies and sunfish making for some real fun and some great eating. So lets get out there and always be safe and take notes for the next year as to when things start as far as biting, what your using to catch them and your temps, have a great time everyone the weather is a plus for us this week.
