The TREE before saw time.

As you can see,this was not a small or short tree.To date this is our biggest take down as far as hight goes.And being so close to the house made it nerve racking at take down time.Really windy,about 20 mph blowing toward the house didnt helpm matters either.

I could make some nice furniture from some rough lumber out of that tree. Too bad we don't live close as I would be over trying to barter. I do have a couple of Loran Oak trees that I may turn into lumber someday. Not as good as red oak or white oak but it would work. White oak is the best.

White oak Bernie.We didnt have any problems other than the wind,we had 3 ropes tied up in it to my brothers truck and when iot started to go he gased on it tp pull it the right way.
