An Illinois man wanted for drug possession has been arrested in Stevens County.
On Tuesday afternoon, Stevens County authorities along with the Minnesota State Patrol were called to the intersection of US Highway 59 and State Highway 28 in Morris for a suspect arrest warrant.
Authorities arrested 40-year-old Shannon Thomas of Homewood Illinois.
Thomas was booked for 5th degree possession of a controlled substance.

salt ..... i cant speak for all of illinois ...but i can speak for rockford ....its loaded with drugs ....specially crack cocaine.... theres thousends of crack heads here....its very sad ....people here out to rob some body ..dont rob gas stations n banks any more ....they rob the crack dealers out there sellin there stuff ....i have no use for a crack head ....

With the economy on the slide watchout for drug addicts to start stealing more in the near future and become more violent in there attempts to get there next fix.
