A death, possibly linked to a Minnesota wrestling legend, was ruled a homicide.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner found Helmut Gutmann, 97, died from complications from a broken right hip caused by a fall.
Minnpost.com reported Gutmann was pushed to the floor by Verne Gagne, 82, on January 26.
Both men were living at a Friendship Village in Bloomington, a facility for people with Alzheimer's.
No charges have been filed.
Gagne started his wrestling career at the University of Minnesota and won a slot on the 1948 U.S. Olympic team. He became a pro wrestler. As owner of the American Wrestling Association, he helped launch the careers of Hulk Hogan and Jesse Ventura.
Gutmann was a classical musician and cancer research scientist at the Minneapolis V.A. hospital.
