Me And My Youngest And Oldest Boy Have Been Cutting And Splitting Wood Preparing For The Next Cold Front Coming Threw This Weekend, Folks It Won't Be As Cold As The Other One But Im Not Taking That Chance Again With Our Weather Service.

Looks like you've had your work cut out for you the last couple days. Looking at those pics brings back memories. I actually miss splitting and stacking the wood. Y'all be safe out there!

One of my friends lives on his farm, he took his front steps out and pulls a grain wagon up right next to the front porch so he can just open the door and grab the logs, he has 2 wagons that he loads up for the winter. He keeps them in the shed till he needs a fresh one, plus he has a big stack of wood in there so he can reload them seems to work pretty good.

I don't mind cutting and splitting wood but right now all I got to use is a bow saw and splitting maul. I am VERY glad I don't heat with wood. Just keep some done up for the fires we have during decent weather.
