Cast Netting

I thought these how-to videos would be useful to antone wanting to learn how to use a cast net...I watched these today as a refresher so I could brush up on my skills....I can open the net 8 out of 10 throws now...I'm seriously considering a larger net now as well

I tried a long time to learn how to throw a cast net...Never could do it....Then someone told me that I was too short...LOL...My sister can throw one..And she is very good at it....So I'll just keep her near-by...And let her catch my bait...LOL...

I Tried A Long Time Ago And Just Couldn't Master It, Im Sure That My Belly Would Be In The Way Now. LOLOL

Its all about loading the net properly and not throwing it too hard or twisting it.....At first yesterday I was only getting it right half the time now I can open it almost everytime....Just think about the way you do it each time to eliminate mistakes...Net size makes a difference too....I have a 6 ft net that spreads 12 ft....I actually need a 10 ft net with a 20ft spread...I tend to over power the throws with the 6 ft net...Its all about your height and mostly strength.
