| I Do Best On Deep Weed-Lines That Have A Sharp End To The Weeds, Rather Than A Slowly Dissipating Weed-Line, With Deeper Water Nearby, And Preferably A Change In Bottom Content. The One Thing Is They Form Schools And Once You Find One, Not Uncommon To Land Several Of The Same Size, Then It Might Be 200 Yards Of Very Little Action And Then You May Run Into Another School. I Like To Throw A Deep Running Crank Relevant To The Depth Of The Weed-Line To Locate Fish, Then Slow Down With A Drop-Shot Or Jig-Worm, Or Any Other Finesse Style Approach. It Can Be Humbling, But Way Worth The Time. Nothing Better Than Sticking Back To Back 4 Or 5 Pounders Just Be Sure Your At The Right Depth And You Should Do Good.. | |
