| Yes the new tiller worked just great. I have been planting for a couple of days now. Probably have 18-20 different things in now. Am waiting for the sweet potato "seeds" to arrive. I put in 4 rows of sweet corn and will put in another 4 in two or three weeks so that they will mature at different times. The rows are 30 feet long. Also it is too hot for lettuce now and I will save room for 2 kinds when the weather cools off a little.
It is sort of the wrong time to plant down here but I am doing it anyway and will see what happens. Next spring is the big time but I just could not wait to get started now.

| Yes Marlboro two kinds of tomatos are in the ground and I water them twice a day to get them going. It is pretty darn hot during the day and if some do not make it I will plant more later. 18 plants in right now. | |

| Bernie When Water The Tomato's Try Not To Get The Water On The Plant If The Sun Is Beating Down On Them ( It Will Burn The Plant ). I Like To Water Mine Early In The Morning As The Sun Is Coming Out And At Night As The Sun Is Going Down, This Will Allow For The Plant's To Benefit The Water Before It Evaporates. You Probably Already Know This Stuff So Just Let Me Know If I Step On Toes Bernie, Sounds Like You Have A Very Good Start. | |

| Hey Bernie After Your Tomato's Have Been In The Ground For A Week Or So Buy Some Miracle Grow, I Use All Purpose Myself And Mix It According To Directions Buddy You Will Not believe How Your Plants Will Produce And Grow. I Think It Was Bait Fish That Said That His Tomato's Are As Tall As Him, I Have Grown 3 lb Potato's Before And Monster Cabbage (25lb Heads) That Stuff Is Awesome. | |

| I do have some Miracle Grow. Also I am loosing some of the tomato plants probably because of watering some in the hot sun. Some are doing great. That's OK as I planted too many anyway. I will wait some weeks before replanting so that we will have an extended season of fine eating. | |

| I've got 2 tomato plants that are doing really well. I was late getting them set out and don't have tomatoes yet, but they are blooming. Also 2 hills of cucumbers. and two hills of what are supposed to be giant pumpkins. If those pumpkins do happen to get to 500 pounds as the seed packet says, I don't know how I'll ever get them moved. I'm figuring on a more realistic size like maybe 50 pounds. That would still be a big pumpkin. | |

I put in three different types of tomatoe plants Mike and I have used the same Miracle Grow that you do, but mine aren't an inch bigger than when I planted them. Don't know why, but they just seem to refuse to grow for me. Jim

| Too early for pictures. Since I put in all the seeds for many items we only received one good rain and that was yesterday. Another week or so I should start to see the rows immerge. I won't receive the sweet potato plants until the middle of August. Also I want to hold off another week before I put in some more sweet corn.
I look at the garden everyday but that does not make things grow faster. We have very hot weather so this all is sort of a trial run for me. Early spring will be the big one and I can put in some of the onions like in January according to an onion expert (Dixondale Farms from Texas).
