| Well as many of us know, Saturday (for alot of us) was a real crapshoot! On Sunday I went to my favorite hotspot up at Lac Qui Parle, and got two nice walleyes, 25 and 27 inches.
Last night I went to this same area with another friend and between us we got 5 walleyes ranging from 17 inchs to 26 inches. By the way, this is all basically river fishing from the shoreline. I also heard that on Saturday two nice walleyes were brought in up at Milan Bridge and one was over 10 lbs.
Just thought some of you would like to know
Good fishing!

| Hey Northstar:
Well pretty basic walleye producers are a jig and a minnow. We use fatheads, and as for jigs..usually a quarter ounce (depending on current). Colors..hard to say. I have caught some big walleyes the last 3 years on red, but I used white this time around. My friend used a light green. So who knows what works best. I do have a 10lb-er on my wall. And this is all shore fishing.
I almost hate to post this, but we should? all share our "hotspots". A place called "Brendemoen Bridge" which is about 2 miles north of the Lac Qui Parle Dam on the East side of the lake. A good producer in the spring. The last 3 years I got walleyes ranging from 4 to 10 lbs. out of that one area. Even vertical jigging off the bridge has brought in big walleyes. I may live to regret telling everyone!
Milan Bridge area is also a great producer Good luck!
