This place is called pearson park they have a yearly trout derby-
Truck dumped fish a 11:30 Dad was there at 2:00 to catch his five in five casts! He brought me back at 4:00. I got about 20 in the half hour I was there kept my 5. Rooster tails were the hot ticket. Will be back tomorrow. Not big but still really fun!

Again Today
Fish were harder to find and weren't biting as good but today a spoon worked great and powerbait also. Caught about 30-20 CPR some got the limit-took 4 hrs. Heres some pics. :big:

Man That Looks Like It Would Be Alot Of Fun Thats For Sure, Do They Stock That Pond Every Year Question And How Deep Is It. Question Thanks For Sharing.

Yea they stock it every year. They normally stock 2 ponds-this year only one which has a max depth of 10 feet... Its very fun. I will have more posted in a couple weeks...

The DNR stocks trout in a few of the lakes around here. Unfortunately it is very well publicized and turns these lakes into mad houses. I'd like to try it but don't want to fight the crowds.
