Do any of you build your own crappie condo's?

We do..All you need is some bamboo a bucket and some cement...Add your cement to the bucket and then stick your bamboo in that..Let it dry..And them sink it in the lake...Your crappie condo is ready for open house...LOL

Them Are Cool I Will Have To Check Into The Laws For That Here I Have A Couple Places That I Would Love To Do That Thanks For Sharing Tessie.

What they do here sometimes is to take dump truck loads of discarded Christmas trees right after Christmas. The Department of Fish and Wildlife does this. Then cable hundreds of them together and then tow them out to different parts of the resevoir when it is down really low. Then they shoot an anchor into a big rock and attatch the bundle of trees to them. When the water comes back up in the Spring they are out of sight. If you know where they are, they make for great Crappie and Bass fishing.

They do that here in Ohio also.

Cool, its great for crappie and panfish. 

They have done that in Raleigh..But not here in Statesville..We just make own own...
