| You can make chum from any kind of meat you want...Or from bluegills, carp, or any type of fish...Grind it up and freeze it until you are ready to use it..Put it in mess bags...And hang it over the side of your boat...It don't take long before the crappie and catfish start hanging around...We do this when we are night stalking and have our lights out... | |

| I use to use canned catfood or dog food with holes poked in it to attract baitfish or crabs...that might be a way to lure those crappie in. | |

| We Can't Chum In Minnesota But There Are Many Ways That Work The Same Way, One Way That I Use And It Don't Sound Like Much, Changing You Minnow Bucket Water Often This Will Put The Sent And Any Other Debris In The Water To Help Attract The Fish. Some Fish Scents Seem To Work Also, Like Any Of Them That Have A Glitter In Them When Floating In The Water It Flashes And That Makes The Fish Think That That Is Scales From Bait Fish That Are Around And If Your Bait Is There Your In Luck. That's Just A Couple Ways I Use Were You Can't Chum Legally. | |
