Last 2 Days Erie Marina Ice Report

Day 1
Finally got on the ice today. it was 4in. and pretty cold out! Together Dad and I caught about 50 gills most under 6in. Some were over 6 though and they were nice! Got one 5in. crappie and we really wanted to get into some vrappie like we had been b4 the ice but they just werent hittin. It sure did feel great to get onto the ice!!!
Day 2
Got out again today 4in. of ice in the marina. Tried 2 marinas and the one we thought would be good b/c this summer we tore up the slabs well didnt catch a thing there!!!! So moved back to yesterdays spots and tore em up again with 8 keepers over 6in. thrown in today!! Although most were small but again caught a little over 50 gills. Also caught a tiny LM bass Reallly fun toaday using the vex and zercom.... Talked to some fellow ice fisherman-said they weren't catching a thing so I geuss we were doin good! Checked out Erie prolly no ice fishin this year mainly just cakes floatin around.... We can only hope... But today was fun heres

looked like there were a few rock bass that you caught also congrats on the catches buddy.

Nah just warmouth and pumpkin seed.... still fun to catch and tonight they were fun to eat!

those look like some good flathead bait in the summer they had to be fun to catch though. and they are good to eat. congrats on your catch
