| Well we forgot to take pics of the green and yellow beans this time but there was about a 1/2 bushel of each. In the pic we kept the small pickles to can up and we gave about half the cucumbers away with the rest of the veggie's to the nursing home, i will be giving them a gallon jug of the refrigerator pickles in a couple days they will be real happy for them. | |

| Ok it is suppose to rain for the next 2 days after today so we had to go down to the garden and get things done before it get here tonight. We decided to pick some of the tomato's a couple days early because of a couple of reasons, one they look good lolol and 2 because we have had a little trouble with blossom end rot but i think we have that under control now after putting down some lime and miracle grow to get the sulfur in the ground. Then we got some of the carrots yanked out and washed up so we can work at canning the m tomorrow while it's raining, there not real big but they will for sure do the job. We also picked the pickles, the green beans, the yellow wax beans, the zucchini, the cherry tomato's, and a couple squash. And because of the driught this year, our sweet corn didn't turn out to well so Beth stopped and picked up 6 dozen ears of corn so we can get them canned up for the winter. So yep we will be busy the next few days but heck i call it fun, and it makes you feel good about what you have accomplished both during and after the yearly harvest is over there will be plenty more pictures to come. | |

| Those onions sure look good, Mike, as well as the rest of the stuff from the garden! Yes, it sure will pay off come winter when you get to eat the "fruits of labor!" LOL.... I used to love gardening and canning with my mom. I don't have the place for a garden now. Hopefully some day I will and will be able to have a garden and do some canning also. | |

| Very nice, Mike! I'm sure the elderly people just love you! There's nothing more rewarding than seeing the look on the elderly's faces when something home grown is given to them. | |

That is a huge zucchini! Almost too big to do anything with, but was still worth growing to see how big it would get lol | |
