Who likes yard sales?

It's getting close to the time for them to be starting up again. I've found a lot of good stuff at yard sales and made some money off of it on ebay. Good deals are getting harder to find as more and more people use ebay as a guide to what their stuff is worth.

I don't care much for the organized area wide yard sales because there are just too many flea market vendors at those type of sales. The best ones are the one where people are just trying to get rid of their junk rather than trying to make some money.

Grumpy I Look Forward To Them Every Year, We Have A Few Strays In The Spring But They Really Kick In On Opening Of Fishing The Men Going Fishing And The Women Go Gradge Sailing.

I love yard sales!!!! I have found a lot of fishing gear at some of these things...My sister bought her 4 abu garcia's last year for 5 bucks...

I almost never see any fishing gear at yard sales around here other than maybe some real crappy stuff that needs to be thrown away.

It's really hard to find fishing gear around here, but when you do, you can usually get it for a decent price. I'm thinking of having an aution in my yard this year, but I want to do the calling myself rather than pay the local autioneer 25%. I have to check in on all the regs that come with it, but I think as long as I am just dong it with my own stuff it will be oi, I hope anyway. papa

I used to say I hated them but thats before I actually went to them LOL. Now I enjoy going and seeing what I can find. I've got some good deals at them.

My wife and I like the small yard sales she picked up a good Penn 209 for $10.00 at our neighbors last summer.

I don't like them but have found some good old cast iron at them. I'd much rather go to estate auctions.

Yes, I have gotten things from yard sales from time to time. Right now they do not turn me on at all. We have a small house and do not need anything else around. Buy it and store it and then throw it away. That does not make sense to me anymore. I will do a drive by if it is handy but that is about it for an old man. I really do not need anything else except for perhaps more woodworking tools but everything I find at yard sales is junk for me.

I loves yard sales a round here becouse if i gets to them a little late i well get whats lift for free and i gets a few good thing out of it that the way i gos to yard sales i wait tell the last hour lol lol.
