A story about Jim E. Empty
PostSubject: A story about Jim E.   A story about Jim E. I_icon_minitimeFri Nov 12, 2010 11:42 am

This is a story about a guy named Jim from Findlay Ohio and this story is why I might not ever invite another internet friend into my home or on a fishing trip.

I have known Jim for about 8 years on the internet and he seemed to be a pretty good guy just from talking to him on the phone and by voice chat on yahoo...Several years ago I invited Jim to come down and go fishing with me and finally this year he decides he wants to come down in August....He was short 80 dollars or so on the bus ticket and asked if I could pay the extra so I did as a loan until he got here....The ticket was going to be bought in advance so it would be cheaper and Jim is on a fixed income so he promised to pay the difference as soon as he walked in the door here....This was his first mistake.....He never payed the money or mentioned a word about it...I asked about it after a few days and he told me that his friend was going to send him a money order to pay me...That was the second mistake and the second lie....Honestly it wasnt about the money at all....It was the fact that I had a damn liar in my house....We all know that half the time liars are usually thieves.

A few other thing about Jim is that he rolls his own smokes and he left tobacco on my dinner table and in the floor around the table...One of my dogs ate the stuff and had a messed up stomach for a couple of days....It made for alot of extra clean-up.

I put 4 towels/wash rags in the upstairs bathroom for Jim....There were still 3 sets in there when he left.....He only changed clothes 2 times....He was here 10 days!!

jim is 37 years old and a very large guy...I would say he is 350 plus pounds...Basically he ate alot and he was going through 24 cans of Dr Pepper a day if not more....He played video games 12 hours a day and stayed on the cell phone the rest of the time....If you were lucky you might see Jim awake by 11am....We only went fishing once because he said the walk in the sand made him sore all over?

Jim has no teeth and I am not making fun of that fact but he should have used mouth wash or breath mints.

I never said a word to Jim about the money or the odor but after we took him back to the bus station and we returned home I needed to wash the sheets from the bed he was in and get the stench out of that room......I went to the laundry room and noticed that the 2 dryer knobs for the on/off and the settings were broken off....They werent just pulled off but broken off...Then I seen a pair of pliars and a hammer stashed away in the corner....Out of all the days he was here this was the only morning that Jim was up before me and the wife...When I asked Jim about this by phone he said that it wasnt like that when he went in there.....Jim never washed any clothes so I dont even know why he was in there...He tried to say that maybe my dogs did it...Yeah Right!.

Me and Jim are no longer friends...I dont like liars and I dont like spiteful people...Jim may be a thief as well but I cant prove it...I collect playstation 2 games for the grandkids and one of the controllers are gone and 2 games.

What do you think about Jim?

Yep...Jim is a sorry SOB.

We ordered a large pizza one night and he ate all but 2 pieces...He told me and the wife ..."I left you guys 2 slices"...I was pissed.

Sorry to hear about your experience.

The six or seven times I've met up with people I met over the Internet (fishing, canoeing, shooting) the experience was good.

I've met other folks from North Alabama, Texas, and Tennessee without any problems but this guy was awful.

Some people really lie about their "true colors" over the internet. I have met a couple people that were very nice from the internet. Most of the other ones, were NOT what they seemed to be whatsoever!

You're a very patient man. He wouldn't have stayed 10 days at my house.
