Last Week

I was helping my dad around his yard and other something to get it done before the fall coming.

My dad and I did some wood splits so we had a enough with it for this year. And let them dry up til next year.



Theres still more woods to do but them are too wet so let them dry til next year too..


My dad is thinking about selling this icehouse.. He need more room for parking..


This is old outhouse, its getting weak and seem its going to be fall down soon.. My dad is thinking about to take it down..


Finally My dad's hunting boat got done and he can go hunting for geese now..




My uncle's boat got done too.


My dad and cousin were working on the outboards, using those outboards for duck hunting.


My boat and dad's boat were done for this year. Then My dad can put his hunting boat next to the pier.

Holy crap you guys were busy thats for sure.

Thats alot of firewood....I remember those wood splitting days....That axe sure put some shoulders on me.

That bitty little wood pile is enough to keep you warm?Son,ya got a good start on a wood pile.A couple more like that and then you will have a pile.

lol yep thats new pile of woods, In last spring I was stacking the woods so right now we got more woods coming to splits and throw it as pile.

I have an idea.Why not take the icehouse and move it to where the old out house is?Looks to be a fancy way to enjoy a little time.

Looks like you've been busy for sure, Andrew. I remember the days of heating with wood in the winter, too. If it wasn't for me being allergic to wood heat, that would be my preferred heating source in the winter...
