Me and the youngest moved a little gravel today (38'x11' and 4 inches deep), a good rain now should settle things down.

What did you use,dense grade?Normally d.g.a. or dense grade aggrate has a lot of rock dust in it,once it gets wet,rain hose ect and compacted the rock duck gets really hard,almost like concrete.

i believe it is dense grade aggregate, it's what they use on gravel roads around here i think.

Soak it good with a hose,then just pack it in really good.
