Old lures...What are they called?

Bought these dirt cheap...now what are they?

They are Bombers. Originally made of wood and later made from plastic.

They are made mainly for fishing bass but i have caught several pike on them while both trolling and casting. They are mainly used by casting and retrieving them at different speeds, the speeds that they are retrieved and the little spoons or plates in the front of the lure will make it dive deep when you are reeling the lure back in. Cool lures we use them a lot around here, heck i have even caught walleye on on that was panted like a little bass, good lures Greg.

Traded some sinkers forthem...These are the plastic ones.
