It's all right that you want to succeed and you believe that you can succeed. This is only the starting point. The more important thing to is to realize that to succeed, to put up a brilliant performance, to get the kudos, you should be ready to spend the endless hours in oblivion, practicing and practicing. Wanna be a brilliant sportsman? Then first be ready to spend years as a mediocre sportsman first! You can't be brilliant, unless you are ready to embrace mediocrity.
