Who Knows Wild Flowers. ??

I took these pics the other day just down the road from my house, these flowers have been here since we moved up here 14 years ago and im sure they were here before that also. These flowers bloom every year in April and when done blooming they are done and like just disappear, any help would be great full.

Sorry, Mike. I can't help ya on that one. Hope you can find out what it is. Maybe take one to your County Extention Office-Agriculture part and maybe they can help you with it. Let us know when you find out what it is.

that one looks like a snap dragon so type but the others throw that off i know they got books in the librairy that will help ya there mike ...if u got one there

Ok we found out on a different site that i posted this on here is the answer folks.

I tend to agree with Kibbles. It does look like a Pasque Flower, although a bit bleached out. If so, it is the South Dakota state flower. Definitely in the Anemone family and not known to be invasive or noxious.

Glad you found out what it was, Mike. It sure is a pretty flower though!~!
