| How do you keep your feet warm....its been into the below freezing temps quite often here in Gulf Shores AL and my feet get cold really easy....What do you guys do to keep your feet warm in the snow and below 0 temps...Normally I dont have to worry about the cold temps only 12 to 18 nights a year here but this year we've had over 40. | |

| I use to have a problem with keeping my feet warm when i smoked (Smoking causes blood vessels to shrink thus making it hard to keep feet warm), soon as i quit smoking my feet are always sweating now so now they get cold from being sweaty. I just wear socks all the time just not in bed, and a good pair of slippers and shoes make a big difference also, That is the best i can tell ya.
A hiker works great.
Or some kinda work boot.
leather slippers work good on cold floors.
Thick socks also does big wonders. | |

| I don't know what keeps feet warm, as mine are cold ALL the time in the winter.... I can even have on a pair of socks and slippers and my feet are still ice cold... Part of that is the fibro.. The other part is smoking... | |

| I've been stopped smoking since August 2007 now and more active...I'm not sure what my problem is...Maybe I spent too much time in central florida and my feet need to readjust. | |

| If your talking about outdoors, a good pair of boots with 1000 grams of Thinsulate and a pair of cold weather socks is about as good as you can get. Cotton socks will make your feet sweat more, and hold in the moisture. Whatever the cold weather socks are, wool or something else, lets the moisture get away from your skin better. When I'm ice fishing, I take an old floor mat or piece of carpet to keep my feet off the ice. Doesn't seem like much, but it makes a world of difference. As far as in the house, I have trouble keeping my feet warm also, if I've been outside all day, it's worse. Also since I've been on the rat poison, I have more trouble keeping warm all over. | |

| Thanks for all the info....I need to go to Bass Pro again for a new pair of fishing shoes and look for a pair of leather slipper/deck shoes for around the house. | |
