Thought For The Day January 15th 2010

Lo! The New Year is born!
Aspirations anew, dawn
Everyone looking ahead
With visions to tread,
Grounds we forfeited,
With hopes lifting us,
Trusting our potential,
Soaring - we should be,
This year with success,
Turning points to come our way
Moments of glitter and joy
Times of laughs and rolls
Would be this year – Ours.

Storms we can expect for sure
But little would they know
We have grown too big
For them, to defeat us
Dreams, we would not resist
Support we would not restrain
We will go hand in hand
Shoulder to shoulder, we will advance
Outcomes grand - we shall witness
Cheers and merriment all around.

Looking forward to this new year
With hopes and courage to beat hell
Never again to let setbacks shrink us
But to start smiling and keep winning!
Lo! The New Year with it bounties,
In wait for the willing heart!
