white deer feet

Sorry it has been so long since I have posted. My computer is messed up and I really don't know when I will be able to buy another one. On the last day of kentucky's rifle season my dad shot what he thought was an eight pointer. When I got closer to it I noticed white legs. It wasn't until we got up to it I noticed white hooves. I have seen a few piebalds that had white legs before but never white hooves. I took it to the taxidermist asking about it. My plans were to make gun racks with them. The taxidermist said it was albino genes. I thought albino was an all or nothing deal. Aparrently there is also a difference between a piebald and a partial albino (two different genes). We sawed the feet off and had them in the garage but there are a couple busted windows and my neighbors dogs got in there and took 3 of them but we got one left. Here is a picture of the deer my cousin killed during the youth weekend.

That is pretty cool, to bad the dogs got them though that was a good idea to make a gun rack with them, congrats to both of them on some really nice deer for sure.

Nice bucks, Willy! I haven't ever heard of anything like that before either. That is definately interesting. Thanks for sharing the pics. We have been wondering where you have run off to. Figured you were just too busy with school and deer hunting. Sorry to hear your computer is messed up. Hopefully you will be able to get another one or get the one you have fixed soon! We miss you posting on the site!

Thanks everyone. The buck on the bottom was Jake's 4th deer and by far his biggest. The only other deer he has killed was a doe, 4 point spike, and a button buck. The deer with the white hooves was something I nor nobody else I know had ever seen. My dad has been hunting for 2o something years and never seen one like it and my taxidermist has been hunting alot longer than that but doing taxidermy for 20 years has never seen one like it. I wish I could've told you guys sooner about the computer. My grandparents are moving in with my cousins and he pays me 10 dollars an hour for help. Hopefully I can get enough to atleast buy a refurbashed one or something pretty cheap.

I will back by new years at the latest. I am helping my grandpa move for a while so I can' use his computer while I am over here. My cousin has an ipod touch and I was playing around with it. I have to get one of them. You can play games, listen to music and has internet. I wil probably see if I can take the money I make with my grandpa this weekend and see if I can get somebody to pay the rest off for christmas (hopefully early). They cost 200 and I should make 150 or close to it with my grandpa plus they usually give me 50 for christmas.
