KIDS!!!!

What are some of the most Annoying?..Aggravating?...Embarassing?....or just plain Funny things that you recall kids in your life doing?

I remember when I was littler I would lie just to see if anyone would say anything about it. Some of the things i would say were just plain stupid and no possible way it could happen but nobody said nothing so I thought they believed me. It had to be pretty annoying. I'm sure I will think of something else.

Well back in the day when I was in the service, we used to take family trips a couple times a year. I always took my daughter in the bathroom with me to change her diaper and just to give Mom a break. Well that came to a screaching halt when she was about 3. When we got back in the car she asked mom "Mommy why does daddy have a tail?" I told the wife from now on you take her to the bathroom!

I knew my son inherited my sense of humor (read smart aleck) when I asked him to go pick up his room because it was messy. I thought I was in control because he marched right out of the living room to his door. Then the smarty pants grabbed the door knob and tried pulling it up toward the celing. He said "Dad I can't pick up my room!" I said "Why not?" He said "Because it's too heavy!"

I remember the worst trouble I got in as a kid. One day I asked my dad for some money so I could go to the store. He said "Well Butch when I was a kid in the winter I used to shovel people's sidewalks to make money." I said "Oh really, I didn't know they had sidewalks back then."

When my girls were about 4 and 5, a friend and I were taking them out for ice cream. We were talking about places that we would like to live. My dream has always been to live in a big log cabin nestled in the woods with a river or pond behind it. My youngest daughter popped off and said: "Mom, I like log cavities too"!~! LMAOOOO

When I was younger we lived in Chillicothe, Ohio. One time for New Year's Eve I took the shot out of a .410 shell. Dad had come home drunk from his revelry, passed out on the couch. At midnight I went up in the attic and stuck the shot gun out the window and fired off a round to celebrate the New Year. My dad woke up from his sleep and came running upstairs. He started yelling at me and told me "I get tired of telling you the same things! I'm not going to tell you the same things in 62 that I told you in 61!"With the look he had on his face I wasn't about to tell him it was 1972! In 61 I was only 2.
