O.K. this was taken of me 35 years ago after going fishing with my dad at a local lake in southern Minnesota called Lake Lillian, the lake is now getting noticed for its walleye that it has been producing. well this fish was a 9 lb northern pike.

OK Mike you asked for it. From 35 years ago.
In this fish photo my youngest son caught the fish but the older son was taking credit for it.
35 Years Ago Scan0005

This is when two of my sons and myself journeyed many miles up a river in our 14 ft boat in the spring. Mainly caught suckers. No leaves out yet and we kept a campfire going. After that I suffered from a large case of poison ivy from the campfire smoke. You can see the river in the background.

This is what the old man (me) looked like in those days. I was just getting ready to leave on a spring fishing tent trip with a couple of my daughters (Daughters deserve trips like that also.)

And this is our spring fish camp along side of a Northeren Michigan stream. Two daughters and a young son in the backgroung.

So there; that is the way that I brought up some of my Children 35 years ago.
