A 3 Part Question For Any One.
Do Catfish Get Parasites,???
And What Is Generally The Causes Of The Parasites,???
And Can All Catfish ((( Fish ))) Get This Parasite.???
My Reason For Asking Is I Have Caught Fish Before With Parasites (sunfish)(crappie)(Pike) ECT ECT ECT But I Don't Ever Think I Have Caught A Catfish With It.

I'm not sure about it, well panfish like to swimming around the weeds, but its good question. I cleaned alot catfish, did not see any parasite so.

Do parasites look like them little black spots on some fish?. I have not seen any here in Florida but saw plenty of them in Michigan.

Yes all fish have them some are to small to see others you can like the black dots, alot of people dont know but fish get flat worms and tape worms also"

I was helping a guy clean some spoonbills once and they had worms in them. I never wanted to eat any after that.

We caught 2 cats this year with the bugs in them, one had it in his gills and in his crap, the other just in the gills... Cleaned the gills up on them the best we could and put them back to get bigger... Craig

I don't think I've ever seen a catfish with a parasite on it...
