with a 12ft tiger shark to save a friend

Plunging a knife in again and again, diver Craig Clasen grapples with a 12ft tiger shark to protect a friend.
For two hours he wrestled with the giant, spearing it seven times, even drowning the beast before eventually finishing it off with a knife.
Mr Clasen was hunting yellow fin tuna with fellow fisherman Cameron Kirkconnell, photographer D.J Struntz and film maker Ryan McInnis in the Gulf of Mexico when the encounter took place.

I've been on the beach but never wanted to venture in the water, accidentally got hammered by a wave once and learned to stay back further. They have to many bad things in there. Fishin is fine but me in there isn't.

I completely agree, papa. I've been to the ocean twice. I NEVER went any further out in the water than to where I could see my feet. If I couldn't see my feet, I was moving towards the beach LOL Too many toothy critters in the ocean for me. They would eat me in one gulp!
