Before/During/After

These pictures are taken in my yard before the storm hits, it is sunny and the snow was finally melting away but that will change in the next 24 hours dramatically. I am going to post the before/during/and after pictures to give you all a look at what happened during the storm.

Here are a few since the last ones, it has been foggy and rainy here since about 10AM this morning some areas getting slippery on the roads and sidewalks.

we got a blizzard by morning coming in with 12 inches of snow and more in some areas.

Here are a few from this morning taken at 8:00AM and man is it slick outside.

Well at about 10:00 AM the snow started falling we had to run to town for ba few things before the storm really hit and by the time we got back the wind was just starting to pick up, here are some update picks.

Holy Crap, Mike!~! That's a LOT of snow in a short time, that's for sure. Glad you got to town and back and got the things you needed. Glad y'all are home safe and sound!~!

Yes i am buddy, but right now i will take what i can get we need our lakes and streams filled back up again were pretty low here, from here on out i hope it's all rain now though.

Yep, me too so I can't wait for spring...

Well whether or not it is a bad storm, it is still snowing here we need the moister(would have much rather had rain), not sure what the winds will bring here on the parries but will have to wait and see. i know this much the roads are really shitty with both the ice and snow.

YUCK, Mike! You can keep all of it. It stopped raining here for a couple hours. Now it is raining cats and dogs outside again.....

finally quit raining here but its really windy.... winds 20 to 25 mph ...with gusts up to 50.... a flake or two possable ur snows gonna miss us mike!!!!

Well it's not day light out here yet but from right about dark till 3:00AM this morning, it was 0000000000 visibility out there and the winds blew like crazy all night i will take pics as soon as the sun comes up and can see how drifted up things are.

Well it don't look like much, but i tell ya what, after the sun went down and it got dark the winds went nuts and it was total white out here in the Starbuck area. The wind even blew branch out of the trees around the area, nothing to big in my yard but you can see them on the road in front of my house.

More in the open area the winds blew things pretty clear only leaving small drifts in most areas, unless there was a drift started already to build off of. All in all it wasn't a real big storm here but it was the strongest we had here this year in the area were you could not travel any were, the one picture here shows what most roads look like in the area so travel with care and only travel the roads that the plow has gone on.

Yes it does look cold. I'm sure there are a bunch of roads all over in the country that are drifted with snow and possibly shut due to it. I'm glad it didn't get as bad as they were calling for though.
