| That is a big job and it would take a lot of planning just to figure out how to do it. Looks like interlocking roofing. I suppose I could do it at my present age but might take six years with a little bit at a time working year around. No thanks. A handycap in no excuse for not doing the job. In the 40's a completly blind neightor re-roofed his house all by himself. I saw him on and off for days up there but that guy did the work. Also I picked tart cherries in the summer to earn money to buy school clothes. We took along my Mother's completly blind Uncle. And he could pick cherries right along with us. He would pick clean too as he could shake the branches and tell it any cherries were left. And I watched him many times pull out his pocket watch with the crystal removed and put his finger on the clock dials. Thats a little off the subject but I got to typing and that is what came out . | |
