Carp Bait

This Here Is A Bait That I Have Used For A Long Time, And Has Always Done Me Good While Fishing Carp.

First Get A Can Of Whole Corn And Open It And Drain All The Juice From The Can, Now Take 2to3 Tablespoons Of Vanilla Extract And Put In The Can And Mix With Corn Well And Let Sit Over Night And Go Fishing. This Has Also Worked On Catching Panfish To But The Carp Just Plain Have A Sweet Tooth For This.

We used to use a lot of doughball, I remember as a kid, my grandpa standing at the stove boiling up some cornmeal to make his special bait. I don't remember what else he put in it, but it worked. A neighbor used to dissolve red-hots into the boiling water and then add his corn meal. He swore by it.

yep for some reason them carp have sweet tooths, my youngest son use to use his bubble gum and he would get quit a few before the gum would come off the hook.

I've caught carp on just plain ole corn..No flavor added...LOL
